Wind Energy 101
When the wind blows past a wind turbine, its blades capture the wind’s energy and rotate, turning the wind’s kinetic energy into mechanical energy. Inside the wind turbine, this rotation turns an internal shaft connected to a gearbox, which then spins a generator that produces electricity. The wind turbine will rotate to face the strongest wind and will angle its blades to best capture the wind energy.

Nova Clean Energy
We take a landowner-first approach and prioritize transparent and collaborative engagement to ensure our mission aligns with our stakeholders’ values. The developer you meet is with the company and can make decisions quickly in the best interest of the landowners.
Nova is also committed to getting projects from development to operations, so landowners receive those operational payments. There are too many developers who sign up land and let it sit idle for years with no transmission plan or willingness to inject the capital because of competing business interests. This method of doing business is of no interest to Nova and the company’s members experience proves this. A big bank account of capital doesn’t mean those projects get built.
